Re: Q&A App - There was a problem reaching this app
Hi AaronHamilton Q&A is no longer added as an app, it is simply enabled through the meeting options. Seem Q&A in Teams meetings - Microsoft Support. The new admin docs are here -> Manage Q&A in Teams Meetings - Microsoft Teams | Microsoft Learn6.1KViews0likes3CommentsRe: Embed 'registration form' of a Teams Webinar in an iFrame: slow loading.
This is not a recommended approach to take. If you need to have a fully customized registration experience (such as an embed experience) you would need to leverage our Graph API to call the correct registration items (these are currently in beta today). We're also working to update the webinar experience itself (which we announce at Inspire a few weeks back) - you can read more about that here -> https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/microsoft-teams-blog/enhancing-webinar-experiences-with-microsoft-teams/ba-p/35732237KViews2likes1CommentRe: don't see PowerPoint live share
PowerPoint Live sharing is powered by OneDrive so you need to be licensed for that. To prevent someone from taking control, make them an attendee instead of a presenter. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/roles-in-a-teams-meeting-c16fa7d0-1666-4dde-8686-0a0bfe16e0191.2KViews0likes0CommentsRe: Issues in Webinar
Apologies for the delay in responding, once a user joins the webinar, you are correct that we will show the Attendance dashboard (the Attendance tab in the meeting invite in Teams), which indicated who joined that particular instance. In the upper right there is a Download button - that will download the full attendance report (for that instance) as well as the registration report - which should show you all of the registered attendees.791Views0likes0CommentsRe: How to add optional presenter in a webinar without sending update to all
Apologies for the delay in responding - when you add another presenter to a webinar, it will send the update to all of the directly invited folks (the other presenters), but not any attendees. When you forwarded the event, what exactly "did not work"? Was it that she was not a presenter? If so you can adjust that in the meeting options for the webinar (or promote her in the webinar as it is running).1.7KViews0likes1CommentRe: Can I hide my icon on webinar recording?
The recording will capture what the attendees see in the meeting, and currently that includes both video and audio only participants (avatar). We have an upcoming feature called "manage what attendees see" which would allow control over what the attendee sees in the event - once that is implemented, the recording would only capture what you show to the attendees. This feature is slated for end of calendar year 2022/early calendar year 2023 for release.1.3KViews0likes0CommentsRe: Registering for a workshop but getting no access
Not sure I completely follow your scenario - was this a Teams Webinar you registered for? If so, you should have received a confirmation registration mail with an included calendar item, that already has the relevant join link (so not sure what you copied above?). Can you elaborate a bit?1.1KViews0likes1CommentRe: Q&A Access when viewing Webinar through Webpage
This is because the current web experience is powered in Angular, and doesn't support the app framework used with Q&A. We're currently rolling out the new, updated web experience (built in React) which will support the app experience (it's only about 10% currently). This is slated to complete roll out later this quarter.639Views0likes1CommentRe: Co-organizer vs Presenter role permissions
Thanks for the feedback! The idea for only allowing organizers/co-organizers to moderate the Q&A is to align with the approach of a "moderator" for the event itself. Often the presenters have the main task of presenting (the "talent" in the production world), and the organizers/moderators would handle sorting the questions for the talent to answer. We're also looking at reviewing the overall scope of rights for presenters all up (including the promotion ability) to scope it more appropriately.3.2KViews0likes0CommentsRe: Amending Participant registrations
What is preventing the user from registering again? If it's a public webinar, they should be able to navigate to the registration site again to register (potentially using an InPrivate browser). Can you provide some additional details on what you experience when trying to register again?457Views1like0Comments
