Re: Skype for Business 2015 and LDAP
Hi Edgar Malata, For what i understand mostly kerberos / NTLM to communicate for LDAP traffic in most of Microsoft application. I think for non Mirosoft products it can be an issue if they are just using LDAP. Best is to test if it is working, you will see event error if there is no AD connection Greetings, Erdem2KViews0likes0CommentsRe: Skype for Business wont recognise my email and password
Hi Dexhannon, Are you sure that you have a Skype for business license assigned in office365? Sometimes that can be the issue or have they a on premises SFB server maybe? It can also occur if DNS is not probably setup for your company to do autodiscover for SFB. Check on the website: https://testconnectivity.microsoft.com if everything is correctly configured for the domain. Hi lambda_dev, Yes that is one of the problems with toplogy builder and SFB. It not possible to create a topology from powershell. Only way you can achieve is to have an pre build topology and edit the xml file of the topology. Then you import the topology from powershell. I hope one day it will be possible to deploy from powershell Greetings, Erdem710Views0likes0CommentsRe: Response Group AgentAlertTime
HI jwake-1, No it is not possible to reduce it. One of the problems that can occur is when you have a bad network connection is that the call setup time takes longer and the agent have then lesser time to answer the call. second problem is why would you have that low? 5 seconds is really fast and if an agent is busy or distracted i can have a missed call easily. You do not want to much missed calls of your agents 🙂 Greetings, Erdem793Views0likes0CommentsRe: Migracion de Skype for Business 2015 Standard a S4B 2019 Enterprise
gvascal Hello Gvascal, It is only possible to create a new pool and do a side by side migration. Inplace upgrade is not available. It was also never possible to upgrade from standard edition to enterprise edition. You needed to create new servers for it in the topology. Best way to achieve is to create a new SFB server 2019 pool, backup all settings and recreate users and restore data. Cang Dao Hi There, Best is to check your DNS for the web services on the SFB 2019 Pool in the topology builder if it is correctly added in your DNS. Secondly check your Load Balancer if it is correctly configured for the web services. You will have different web address for the new SFB 2019 Pool. AndreK95 Hello Andre, It is normal that the invite for Skype For Business to Skype Consumer can take a while to reach the invitee, workaround is to add them on both sides. This issue also occurs with SFB Server 2015. There was an article that the invite can take up to 72 hours. Greetings, Erdem1.7KViews1like1CommentRe: Skype for Business 2019 on Premise DNS issues.
Hello andyb12321 You can the Skype for Business Diagram: https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/p/?LinkId=550989 here you can find all the requirments for the SFB Deployment. Have you configured a reverse proxy for your webservices like lyncdiscover.<contonso.com> and configured the externel DNS record pointing to your SFB deployment? gacasta I recommend you to install Windows Server 2019, SFB 2019 and SQL 2017. But if that is no solution, i recommend to stay on SFB 2015 server. there is not so much difference at the moment, couple of changes, improvements and longer lifecycle. Best is to upgrade the clients to the latest versions and bring the functional domain level to the recommended requirments for SFB server 2019 and then start to install SFB Server 2019.
