Re: Introducing Buy now, pay later in Microsoft Edge
And right you are. I just switched to Vivaldi, a Chromium based browser but more freedom to customize. And everything Edge on my PC is either gone or blocked. I am sure that with a next Windows update, Edge will be there on my system again like usual but I'll keep on blocking it. Enough is enough with the "force it down your throat" attitude Microsoft has 😞4.5KViews0likes0CommentsRe: Introducing Buy now, pay later in Microsoft Edge
I just did read about this and couldn't believe it. But it's true and it's just an awful thing! Microsoft is adding another way for people to get in trouble by companies like ZIP that are just greedy money wolfs. Microsoft also sees money and adds it to Edge. This is NOT an "exciting new feature", it just a real anti-social function that is confirming Microsoft's hunger for power 😞4.7KViews3likes0CommentsRe: Any way to move the Outlook search bar back where it belongs?
RNalivaika They did both. The Insiders version had it and the feedback was allround negative. Exactly the same complaints as you see now. Yet MS just ignored all that. The Coming Soon feature was used too. But a lot of people (myself included) do not see that. I even never heard of it. Also a lot of people do not know what it is when they get it, think it is some kind of MS advertisement thing so it is ignored or disabled.32KViews0likes0CommentsRe: Search bar issue in Outlook 365
FCatalano Microsoft made changes in Outlook Search which are for them logical somehow. Yet they forgot that people are using Outlook .... let me rephrase that: they ignored the fact that people are using Outlook. There have been a LOT of negative comments about this since April 2019 when this was announced. Even the Inside testers were negative yet Microsoft ignored it all and now there is a literary rain of complaints about it. You can give your feedback of this change on https://outlook.uservoice.com/forums/322590-outlook-for-windows-desktop-application/suggestions/39046513-search-at-the-top-option ... you will also see that you are not alone: on that page, but also here on this forum, there are many many complaints about this change.17KViews1like0CommentsRe: What is the domain "nrb.footprintdns.com"??
Over here the same with Outlook now. I did add *.*.footprintdns.com to KAV which did not stop the Certificate pop-up warning ... but in the block logs of Parental Control this shows up numerous times: https://ee345629296443b9a23edbf791ba84d8.nrb.footprintdns.com/apc/trans.gif (the * is a random batch of numbers and letters). I presume this is a tracking pixel of some kind? And presume it is embedded in the GUI of Outlook? Anyway, it all is very strange to say the least ....43KViews0likes0Comments
