Re: Not able to Install Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Insider Preview (10.0.22622.590) (KB5017846)
I was finally able to solve this for myself. In Settings>Advanced Options>Delivery Optimization>Advanced Options It seems it has defaulted to "Absolute Bandwidth" and limited itself very low. Probably causing the download to take too long and time out. I changed this to a Percentage setting, and allowed 100% bandwidth. This finally after MONTHS allowed me to complete this update! I also booted into safemode prior to the above steps, and deleted the Windows update Cache files following the below steps. https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/how-to-clear-windows-update-cache/f397d5f6-1fe... So it may be possible the combination will help some of you. Hoping it does!2.5KViews1like0CommentsRe: Windows 11 Insider Preview 10.0.22622.590 no update

Every time I try to update, it gets about 6% downloaded and fails. I have cleared the update cache, I have forced BITS to automatic since it kept stopping. I have tried sfc scan, as well DSIM. When I ran DSIM it gets to 62.5% everytime, and it just stays there. It never completes. Now I am being "warned" that my build will expire soon, but this update has been stuck for months! I'm hoping someone has found a solution that doesn't involve a clean install.717Views0likes1Comment
