I found away around it by just entering the registration code and clicking verify, it will then go grab some updates and in a minute or two the appliance now shows it can connect to the Azure services it needs.

kwesiMoro I had the same issue a few weeks ago. Was trouble shooting it and it fixed itself. Microsoft mentioned it was on their end but they never said how to fix it. I have the issue again today. Not sure who to reach out to?

Defender For Cloud Recommendations using Third Party Endpoint Solutions.
The current policies look for Defender for servers/endpoint to be enabled and configured on clients. So recommendations show up all the time etc etc. The secure score is affected I think if they don't have it enabled. I thought there was a way to include a customer's existing endpoint solution if they are not using Defender. Am I wrong? I know we can do something within Guest configuration to pull information from the customer's servers to show if their endpoint product is installed and running. Can this be passed into Defender for Cloud?
