Does subscribing to a Discussion work the same as subscribing to only 1 post in a Discussion?

Please help to clarify this.

Yes, I believe subscribing to anything in a thread will generate notifications for the entire thread. That seems to be the case with me. 🙂

Since there is still no answer - then in my opinion there is no difference!
I believe that I will receive all notifications for the entire thread.
