The qualifying stage, which began on October 16, runs through January 24, 2024, but you need to submit as soon as possible to get access to the credits you need to build you Minimum Viable Product (MVP). Stage 2. Minimum Viable Product (MVP) Submissions
As the competition progresses, the next milestone is the MVP submission period. Use your qualifier benefits to build your MVP submission. Mark your calendars for January 26 - February 9, when you’ll submit your MVP. This step is mandatory for your advancement in the competition, so be sure to review the rules and regulations to ensure your submission meets the requirements. Reminder: This is where your innovative ideas start to take shape and become tangible so that you can share your startup ideas with others!
Stage 3. Semifinals: Accelerate Your Growth
Congratulations to those who advance to the Semifinals! In this stage, you're in for a thrilling ride. Collaborate with experienced entrepreneurial and technical mentors who will help you refine your business plan and prototype while harnessing AI for your startup's success. You'll have networking opportunities, technical guidance, and access to Founders Hub Level 2, along with an additional USD4,000 in Azure credits. From helping you leverage Microsoft’s industry-leading AI capabilities for your startup, to inspiring you with what is possible as an entrepreneur, your mentors will be trusted partners on your path to success. The Semifinals are where your strategic business ideas take off, powered by cutting-edge Microsoft AI. Reminder: Along the way, you’ll connect with a vibrant community of changemakers and drive meaningful positive change through your journey as a founder.
Stage 4. World Championship: Showcase Your Business Globally
The pinnacle of your Imagine Cup journey is the World Championship, where the top three teams compete on a global stage at Microsoft Build! This is where your depth, potential, and innovation will shine. Showcase your ability to create real-world impact, demonstrating how technology can drive positive change in industry and society. The stakes are high, with the winning team securing USD100,000, an exclusive mentorship session with Microsoft Chairman and CEO, Satya Nadella, and global recognition that opens doors to future opportunities.
