The 6th annual Local Hack Day: Build from Major League Hacking (MLH) is coming up on December 7th. This year, we are so excited that Microsoft and MLH are partnering together to support hackers all over the world in this celebration of learning, building, and sharing!
Local Hack Day: Build is a global hack day that enables your community to get first-hand experience bringing their ideas to life by participating in a hackathon. Over the course of 12 hours, attendees will use hardware, software, and powerful Microsoft Azure cloud services to build everything from websites to robots to mobile apps and more. In 2018, Local Hack Day: Build brought out more than 11,000 participants across 52 countries and 333 cities around the world.
This is an event for all skill levels, from beginners to the most veteran developers. The thousands of hackers who participate each year across hundreds of locations support one another in learning new skills and building positive and inclusive communities.
Everyone who attends will have access to:
Each event will also have digital mentorship available from Microsoft Cloud Advocates and MLH staff in our global chat room that connects hackers across every continent to the global hacker community of MLH!
Register to host or attend Local Hack Day: Build and help us spread the word by using the hashtag #LocalHackDay on Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram. We can’t wait to see you on December 7th, happy hacking!
