SYBASE IQ to SQL Server 2019
Hi i Need to migrate SYBASE IQ to SQL Server 2019 so have following questions.
As sybase IQ is columnar database and sql server row database so is this migration feasible ?
read about the sql server columnar indexes so can they play any role in such scenario considering data will be frequently insert/update/delete as it is analytic database?
How data migration can be done in this scenario?

- Batch mode on rowstore new feature might help to migrate from sybase IQ to mssql 2019 but you need to do POC with vendors 🙂
