Server cost for Multiple File Groups in SQL SERVER

I was about to partition a database that splits the data into three separate file groups 

does it impact the server cost. If yes, Do you guys know how much would it affect.

    What for server costs?
    If you mean CPU or performance, SQL Server can easily handle a database file per CPU/core.
