Problems with permission settings in SSRS
I'm trying to browse the ssrs web portal url on another device but even though I'm using an administrator account it still says I don't have enough permissions, does anyone know what I should do?
- And the machine is joined to domain and the user is logged in with his AD account? SSRS supports only Windows authentication.
- Hello
Is this happening only when you connect from a remote computer/device or also when you do it locally ? can you post a screenshot of the error message that you are getting?
Also have a look to this link
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/sql/reporting-services/security/granting-permissions-on-a-native-mode-report-server?view=sql-server-ver16
Regards
Javier- MODPLAYERCopper ContributorOnly when I connect from a remote computer, and I did this in a LAN environment. I didnt found the error log and the page returns just that one sentence: You are not allowed to view this folder. Please contact the administrator for the necessary permissions.

MODPLAYER , Administrator of what?
SSRS has it's own permission system, see Grant user access to a report server - SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) | Microsoft Learn
- MODPLAYERCopper ContributorIt didn't give any further hints as to what administrator it was. And I have no problem logging in locally, I can't log in to the same account on other devices
