Replication Snapshot not getting generated in MSSQL 2022 Standard Edition

Hi,

I am trying to setup replication of MSSQL database hosted on Windows (Master) to database hosted on Ubuntu (Slave). After configuring the Publisher agent on Master, when I try to run agent to generate snapshot and check status, it shows "Starting agent". It keeps on running endlessly even though the size of my test database is very small.

I have checked that master server is not having any heavy processes running on it. Has anyone faced similar issue as well and resolved it then please guide.
