Skype Room Systems v2 - first impressions

MicrosoftWe just published the app update last week. Version is 2.0.2.0 and you can verify in top right corner of SRS v2 Settings pages.
You should get it automatically (if you did not disable automatic store update) or you can sign in to Admin account and pull it down using Update in Store app.
Word of caution, we are hitting a Windows bug that prevents some users from pulling down the update (0x80070216). If you hit this, we are aware and are actively trying to resolve this.

Do you have a changelog for SRS updates (specifically 2.0.2.0)?
We have currently deployed about 25 SmartDocks with Skype Room System.
These do currently have updates blocked, due to us wanting to test the updates, and know what has been changed before updating.
Also, how's the progress on dual Front of Room screens going?
Eagerly waiting ;)
Would also ask about a certain anomaly with our Lumens VC-B20DU. This is a DVI-camera sold with an HDMI-capturecard. The interesting part was connecting this to our SmartDock we couldn't get the camera to work. After disabling the "SmartDock HDMI capture" in device manager we got the camera-feed as screen sharing (in place of the "SmartDock HDMI Capture").
Is this a known issue? Are you considering to add an option to change default camera input?
Also, are you going to add a camera preview and microphone activity indicator in the SRS settings screen?

- David Tse (SKYPE)I don't have a detailed change log for 2.0.2.0. In summary, it adds management features like writing health info to Windows Event Log, ability to configure audio devices in the settings menu, and a number of bugs fixes.
Dual Front of Room feature should be coming soon (targeting June). I currently use it everyday in testing. No plans for camera preview/microphone activity indicator in the cards.
SRS v2 has a list UVC devices that it treats as video ingest devices instead of regular cameras. It sounds like the HDMI capture card that converts the DVI output of the camera into a USB video device is on that list. Who is the vendor for the HDMI capture card?- Hi David,
I know this question have been asked before. But is there any way for us to get hold of a change log of the Skype Room System app?
It would be very fun/interesting to be able to see what each new version brings :) Is there any source (not the Store) where we can see if a new update is available?
For example like the normale Skype CU KB (https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/3061064/updates-for-skype-for-business-server-2015)

Unfortunately I am not aware of one. By default, SRS v2 is configured to check and apply app updates every night around 2am. There may be a way for admins to monitor and apply store app updates centrally using Windows Store for Business.
