In 2008, I coauthored the

with Kristin Griffin, Remote Desktop Services MVP and a moderator on our

. Since we are slow learners, in 2010 we decided to do it again. With the help of the Remote Desktop Virtualization team and the Remote Desktop Services community (including MVP Alex Juschin, our technical editor), we have written the vastly expanded, revised, and updated
Windows Server 2008 R2 Remote Desktop Services Resource Kit
. I’m happy to announce that it’s available today.
Our goals for this project were simple:

Enable readers to set up a working Remote Desktop Services-only environment to deliver full desktop sessions, personal virtual desktops and virtual desktop pools , and RemoteApp programs

Show readers how to leverage related technologies such as profiles, folder redirection, and Network Access Policies alongside Remote Desktop Services

Explain how Remote Desktop Services works as an aid to troubleshooting
