, Apple announced the availability of iOS 9.3. We have been busy working to ensure that Microsoft Intune is compatible with the latest version of Apple's mobile operating system, and we are pleased to announce that Intune supports managing iOS 9.3 devices. All existing Intune features currently available for managing iOS devices will continue to work seamlessly as users upgrade their devices to iOS 9.3. In addition, iOS 9.3 also works today with customers managing in hybrid with both Intune and Configuration Manager.
With the iOS 9.3 release Apple announced their new iOS in Education features. Intune product engineering is actively engaged with Apple to ensure that iOS 9.3 in Education features are supported for management with Intune and available in a future service update. We continue to collaborate with Apple to ensure a strong customer experience is delivered to our Intune education customers. We believe both the new Classroom app for iPad and Shared iPad scenarios are important for our education customers.
