I’m a senior technical writer and the current Writing Lead for Configuration Manager and Windows Intune, working alongside the product group in Redmond since 2004. Previously to that, I was a consultant in London (UK), specializing in Active Directory and related security/infrastructure services. There are plenty of other Brits around here, but I still run into occasional problems with my “funny accent”.
The areas that I’ve worked on with Configuration Manager include anything to do with certificates and PKI, DCM (now compliance settings), NAP, client deployment and operations, software distribution and deployment, Wake on LAN, out of band management, security, and site/hierarchy-related configuration.
My certifications include MCSE: Server Infrastructure; MCSA: Windows 8, Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2012; and MCTS: System Center 2012 Configuration Manager.
In addition to contributing to the product documentation, I instigated the product quizzes as a fun and interactive way of raising “need-to-know” information about the product features, and I worked with my manager at the time (

. I've previously posted on the
Configuration Manager Writers blog
and you can expect more of the same, only from now on I'll be blogging on this site rather than the writer's blog.
