- Brad ShannonCopper ContributorIs there a good article that spells out the differences between W365 and AVD in GCC High/Azure Gov? It looked like W365 didn't support GPUs, which ruled it out for my current needs.

Microsoft
Windows 365 Government does not have a GPU offering today, in either Commercial or Government. We don't have a published article spelling out any differences between W365 and AVD, either. However, it sounds like you were able to find AVD to be the fit for your needs, and I'm glad you were able to get there. Would you say some sort of article spelling out the differences would have made your eventual landing on AVD simpler/quicker?- FaulkConsultingCopper ContributorRobert, a detailed comparison of AVD & W365 for each of Commercial, GCC, & GCCH would be exceptionally helpful. We assigned a resource to do a small bakeoff between AVD & W365 in Commercial, but we couldn't afford to dedicate the resource to get to the bottom of all of the nuances -- especially when we don't have a clear roadmap for features into each Microsoft cloud environment.

Great starting point at https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-365/overview then dive into Windows 365 Enterprise features from there. And here are the few GCC/GCCH differences: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-365/enterprise/introduction-windows-365-government.
We see many customers leveraging both AVD and W365 for this reason!

- FaulkConsultingCopper ContributorWhere can we find a complete list of features and default settings for Windows 365 in Commercial, GCC, & GCC High?
- Roy BartonFormer Employee
Thanks for the question!
Windows 365 is simply a personal device, referred as a "Cloud PC", in the cloud that is managed like any other physical device. On provisioning, regardless of cloud instance, Windows is configured to it's default settings as any other physical device would be. Since Intune is how Cloud PCs are managed, settings and configurations come from the Intune service and are configured per your security settings. Below is a link to a list of security settings available in Intune.
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/mem/intune/protect/security-baseline-settings-windows-365And here is the Service Description of available features in Commercial, GCC and GCCH.

Please let us know if this answers your question.

- FaulkConsultingCopper ContributorHow does Microsoft maintain its commitment to accept the DFARS 7012 flow-down in GCC & GCCH if Windows 365 Gov doesn't yet support "Digital forensics and placing a Cloud PC under review?"
