We're excited to announce that we've recently launched a series of Unity in-editor tutorials for MRTK3! For an overview of what is MRTK3, check out the official docs here: Mixed Reality Toolkit 3 Developer Documentation - MRTK3 | Microsoft Learn If you're unfamiliar with Unity in-editor tutorials, it's a series of tutorials that can be completed directly within the Unity editor. The tutorials are designed to provide an in-editor experience without the need to navigate between windows.

The MRTK3 in-editor tutorials guide you through each step of the way to build your first MRTK3 application in a beautiful aquarium. The scenes in the tutorials support viewing in Play mode in the Unity editor, the HoloLens, and VR headsets! This is a great starting point for developers who may be new to MRTK. Given that we're currently in Public Preview for MRTK3, we'll continue to update and add tutorials as we make improvements to the toolkit.

To get started, check out the GitHub repository and clone the project today! We would love to get your feedback after you've had a chance to try MRTK3. We are working towards MRTK3 General Availability, and you can help shape its direction through taking this survey: https://ncv.microsoft.com/UyoqQaxuw2

Chri5, we hear you! In the next preview, we've addressed at least a portion of your issue by using a 1.6m height on devices that don't support the concept of a floor. Thanks for sharing your feedback that it simply doesn't work as well. We'll look into the teleportation gesture shortcomings.  thanks! - Hoff

How on earth do we get hand tracked teleportation to work in MRTK3 like it did in MRTK2? Now that it's supposed to be handled by the XR Interaction Toolkit in Unity it's terrible. It works exactly the same as a distance grab so if you miss what you're trying to grab you can accidently teleport yourself. It also doesn't account for the height of the camera so when I teleport my face is at floor level.
