Duplicate Team in Teams Client. Same Team shown twice i Teams Client
We have had reported one class where the Team is duplicated and appears twice in Teams Client.
Channels and Channel dialogs is different, but Team name and Sharepoint file locatations are identical. This is very confusing for stundents and Teachers.
We need to clean this mess up.
We have confirmed in admin view that there is only one instance of this Team in our Tenant.

When looking at the deep links to each team I can see that there is a small difference:

Geir Bjørndalenpending when Microsoft provides a solution for this, you can avoid Teams duplicate names by deploying this Teams request self-service solution.

Once the script is ready, you would have to create a scheduled job to process user requests in the background. Mine runs every 5 mins.
Hi Kdships , when can we expect a fix from MSFT. We're now also encountering the same problem.
