Stuck in trial ??
I'm really excited to try the new features announced today, unfortunately I've hit a small snag. I'm signed in as an E5 user, but stream keeps telling me at the top of the page that it's a trial, and I'm limited to videos under 1Gb. What can I do to get out of trial ?
Hi Sidney_swhl,
I am an independent advisor investigating Outlook inquiries.
Based on several posts that I found, I learned that you must generate and use Yahoo's App Password in Outlook to retrieve your emails.
Step 1: Here are the Yahoo steps to complete.
Source: (Generate and manage third-party app passwords | Yahoo Help - SLN15241)- Sign in to your Yahoo Account Security page.
- Click Generate app password or Generate and manage app passwords.
- Enter your app's name in the text field.
- Click Generate password.
- Follow the instructions below the app password.
- Click Done.
Use this app password and your email address to sign in to your email app.
Step 2: Complete these steps within Outlook Desktop
1. Launch the Send / Receive dialog box by pressing CTRL+ALT+S (See Picture 1 below.)
2. Click on the Group Name then Edit (as shown in Picture 1 below too)
3. From the left navigation, select the Email account then Account Properties.
Note: Email address hidden for privacy reasons.4. Now change the Password according to Yahoo Steps above.
5. Close/Restart Outlook
Many users found these instructions successful but there were few that received an error message 0x800ccc92. For any reason, if you get an error message in Outlook, please add it in this post. I will continue my investigation.
If you find this information helpful, please mark it as the best response or like it which will assist others with the same question. This was an hot topic since 2020 through 2022.

So sorry Steven - We noticed this bug this morning as well. We are caching some license stuff for ~hour before refreshing. As such for about an hour you'll look like you are still on trial/free, but refresh the page an hour later and it'll show you as full E plan user.
We are working on a fix, but it's only temporary that you get identified incorrectly.
- Cheers Mark, looking forward to see this transcription and face detection, which I can only assume is technically achieved using magic.
