How to reduce cost for Azure Diagnostic and Perf counter logs

Hi there,

We have a customer that has the most number of logs coming from Azure Diagnostics and Performance counters. 

Whats the best practice to reduce the cost?? I am planning to send both to Azure Data Explorer however the logs will still be first ingested into log analytics workspace. 

 

Looking for best recommendation to keep the logs with minimal costs.

    Perf logs maybe better going to a seperate Workspace (as Sentinel finds little value in them, but you are billed to analyse them) - that way you only pay Log Analytics ingestion, not the Sentinel cost.
    Azure Diagnostics you can use the Archive logs feature to reduce any beyond 90day costs (without using ADX)
