A commitment from Microsoft that the SharePoint SE actually is a "On-Premise" version
Dear sir,
We have been using SharePoint On-premise 2016 due to our security requirement for years and now we need to upgrade from version 2016 On-premise to something else - On-premise that is. We want to go to SharePoint SE but my boss asks me for some-sort of a commitment from Microsoft that the SharePoint SE actually is a "On-Premise" version and it will be like that for several years. Will you kindly reply back to me that is so - so that I can prove him wrong? We need to get on upgrade to SharePoint SE, but only if you can confirm that this version will be running On-premise going forward. Thank you so much for your help, best regards, Johnny Jensen
