This is lookin really good and I like the fact that the Graph is starting to play a big role. A couple of questions which I'm sure many others will share:
- What about metadata. Lets say we want to build a search experience that makes use of metadata and build refiners. Will the new experience support it?
- Will we be able to rank results? And also, what about promoted results?
- Are Display templates still going to be supported in some way or another? Would there be a way to customise the results. Are these different sections just web parts?
- Would we be able to create custom result sources and use them per results page as per previous versions of SharePoint?
- Will we have a search dropdown on a modern team page which could then take the user to a custom results page?
- Most importantly. When will this be available?
