Vietnam’s longest-serving Microsoft MVP celebrates 50 Years of Microsoft with AI Fridays — empowering 1,400 learners through Master Learning Hub Academy.

The Spark: Becoming an MVP

When I first received the Microsoft MVP Award twelve years ago, I had no idea how much it would shape my professional and personal journey.

Even as a student, I loved sharing knowledge — creating step-by-step, hands-on guides to help others learn new technologies. Back then, I was just an IT professional passionate about troubleshooting Windows Server and teaching others through practical, real-world examples.

Over time, that early passion grew into a lifelong mission: to empower people through technology and learning.

This mission later led me to co-found Master Learning Hub Academy, a Microsoft Global Training Partner in Vietnam dedicated to helping learners and organizations master Microsoft technologies in meaningful ways.

Launching AI Fridays 2025

In early 2025, my team and I at Master Learning Hub Academy launched AI Fridays 2025, a free, six-week nationwide learning series designed to make Microsoft AI more approachable and practical for everyone.

We wanted to celebrate Microsoft’s 50th Anniversary not just with words, but through action — by giving back to the community and enabling people across Vietnam to experience the power of Microsoft Copilot and AI firsthand.

Each Friday, we hosted interactive online sessions with live demos, hands-on labs, and open discussions on how AI can transform learning and work. Participants included students, educators, and business professionals from across the country.

A Small Idea Becomes a Nationwide Movement

What started as a small community idea quickly became a movement. Over 1,400 participants joined us live across six sessions, with nearly 250 engaged learners per session.

We saw teachers redesigning lessons with AI, professionals experimenting with AI Builder, and executives exploring how Copilot could enhance productivity and creativity within their organizations.

Trong Manh Nguyen and the Mater Learning Hub Academy team hosted one of the live sessions in the AI Foundry 2025 series - a nationwide, free learning initiative that brought together hundreds of professionals, educators, and students across Vietnam to explore the power of Microsoft AI and Copilot technologies.

From Inspiration to Adoption

The most inspiring outcome came after the series ended — when many corporate attendees expressed strong interest in Microsoft Copilot and AI integration.
These conversations showed us that the learning series had sparked genuine curiosity and confidence in adopting Microsoft technologies, bridging the gap between inspiration and action.

For us at Master Learning Hub Academy, this was a defining moment — proof that education-led community engagement can create real, lasting impact for Microsoft’s ecosystem in Vietnam.

Through programs like AI Fridays, we’ve seen how community-driven learning can spark curiosity, inspire innovation, and create real impact — not just for individuals, but for the Microsoft community as a whole.

What This Taught Me as an MVP

After twelve years as an MVP, I’ve learned that our greatest power isn’t just technical expertise — it’s the ability to connect, inspire, and empower others.

AI Fridays became more than a learning program — it became a bridge between passion and purpose, between local learners and global innovation.
It reminded me that when communities thrive, Microsoft’s mission — “to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more” — truly comes to life.

If you’ve ever wondered how to create lasting impact as an MVP, start with your community. A single idea — shared with passion and purpose — can ripple across classrooms, organizations, and entire nations. As Microsoft enters its next 50 years, our mission as MVPs is clearer than ever: to inspire, educate, and empower.

At Master Learning Hub, we believe that when learning becomes a movement, innovation follows — and the world moves forward, together.

  • I am truly grateful to the global Microsoft MVP community and the Microsoft Tech Community team for giving me the opportunity to share a small part of my more than 12-year journey with the community.

To me, the MVP award has never been just about technical expertise or certifications, but about the responsibility to share knowledge, connect people, and create positive impact for society.

AI Fridays and our community initiatives in Vietnam have only been possible thanks to the support and collaboration of fellow MVPs, educators, businesses, and learners who are always open to embracing new ideas.

Thank you, Microsoft, for continually believing in the power of community. This journey is far from over.
