This month, The MVP Blog is shining a spotlight on some of the MVP community’s local initiatives around the world.
On May 12, Microsoft Development Center Serbia (MDCS), together with representatives from Microsoft Customer and Partner Solutions (MCAPS), organized a face-to-face meeting for Serbian MVPs and other Microsoft colleagues in Serbia.
After two years of online meetings and events, the MVPs and the Microsoft colleagues were happy to see each other in person and discuss future plans.
"It's good to be back home," said one of the MVPs as he entered the "HyperSpace" – Microsoft Serbia's well-known event space that is once again open to visitors.
All five Serbian MVPs attended the meeting: Stanko Nikolić, Srđan Krčo, Aleksandar Grašić, Srđan Stević and Aleksandar Nikolić.
Milica Kostić, Community Relations Manager at MDCS, welcomed the participants and moderated the conversation about current tech innovations and the community’s ongoing projects.
Dejan Cvetković, Chief Technology Officer, and Tanja Tatomirović, Communications Director at MDCS, provided an overview of the activities and growth of the Development Center.
Darko Bogojević, Marketing and Operations Manager, and Zoran Janković, Data and AI Partner Specialist, represented the MCAPS organization in Serbia.
The MVPs presented many ideas and activities that will be organized again in person in the coming period: from smaller meet-ups to more significant events and conferences.
The next step is to further develop and plan some of these activities. Milan Gospic, country director in Serbia, will host the next face-to-face meeting on June 15.
