  • Save resources- Configure new sleeping tabs to go dark after inactivity.
  • Resume your PC from sleep instantly. RAM stays energized and other process threads run faster.
  • MEM policies for Windows 10 also apply to Windows 11.
  • Feature updates are delivered once per year; Enterprise and Education is supported for 36-months.

" Yeah, this is another huge part of staying consistent and also ensuring that Windows 11 can easily co-exist and run side-by-side with Windows 10 as you roll out. In fact, because of the consistency of the underlying platform, as you can see here, configuration profiles in MEM are now called Windows 10 and later. So you don’t need to worry about changing your existing policies. They’ll just work on Windows 11. These three that you see here were all preexisting configuration profiles. And if I create a new one, you’ll see our platform is Windows 10 and later. And you can use the new settings catalog here. And once I give this one a name, I’ll call it Windows 10 and 11 default, and add settings, you’ll see that it has all of our CSP and ADM extract policies searchable in just one place "

Hi, I think this explanation is crucial and will calm concerns about compatibility with Windows10 - this article is helpful and certainly was needed, thank you very much.

Please can Microsoft look at this... I will not be switching to Windows 11 until this feature is reimplemented. It's such a productivity killer for a lot of users, yet it seems to have been completely ignored in the feedback hub...

There seems to be a misunderstanding about the processor schedule, but in the case of powerless PCs such as older computers and entry models, if background services are not prioritized, problems such as user profile corruption and system profile corruption are likely to occur. If the system does not work properly, there is no sense to increase the name-based response somewhat.

    Dear Community members,

It gives me a pleasure to be a part of Microsoft community.

My Suggestions to improve Windows 11.

    1. In start menu swap user login info and power button.

For shutshown or sleep, it will be very fast.

    2. In right mouse click of Task bar, now it shows only Taskbar settings.

My suggestions to include some more like win 10 options (not all menu). It will be very useful new users.

    thanks and regards

Why did you people in all your infinite wisdom replace the perfectly good and far superior start menu in the final version of Windows 10 with this trash in windows 11?!

Why wasn't the ribbon refined instead of replaced? Also with inferior product that hides most of the option behind menus after menus after menus.

Why can't we customize the first right click menu to add things like seven zip or the refresh button globally?
