Identity Governance licensing question
Hi all,
As we already know, we are required to have an additional add-on license for Identity Governance on top of P2 if we want to use features like Lifecycle workflows. My question is -- how many licenses do we need for this? For example, if we want to use these features to create and deploy lifecycle workflows for new users, do we need to purchase and assign licenses to each user in our tenant? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
- Unfortunately, no documentation article currently clarifies this, so your best bet is to open a support case, or talk with your MS representatives. If I'm to wager a guess, every user under the scope of a workflow will have to be licensed. Though it's likely the requirement will not be enforced in code, much like with most other features.
- anujiiCopper ContributorYeah, I chatted with a support person, and they didn't know either. They said someone will get back to me in 1-2 business days, but no one has reached out yet.
- Well I can confirm that they do not check whether the user is licensed. But I managed to find this bit in the documentation:
Be aware that if your license expires, any workflows that you have created will stop working. Workflows that are in progress when a license expires will continue to execute, but no new ones will be processed.
