Hello friends,

I’m pleased to announce the general availability of the enhanced company branding functionality that allows for customization of the Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft 365 sign-in experience with less effort.

The experience controls apply to sign-in for users in the directory and for external users, including use cases for B2B, B2E, Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) and first-party applications running on Entra ID. With enhanced company branding, you’ll be able to create a custom look and feel for the default sign in pages, as well as pages targeting specific browser languages. In addition, you can now customize self-service password reset (SSPR), footer hyperlinks, and browser icon, style sign-in experiences using cascading style sheets (CSS) and enable header and footer using one of the pre-defined templates.

The following settings are now available on the company branding blades:

  • Configure layout – This allows you to specify the placement of web page elements on the sign-in page.

  • Set up custom self-service password reset hyperlink – This provides the ability to show, hide, or customize the self-service password reset link on the sign-in page.

  • Customize footer hyperlinks - the URLs and link text for privacy and terms of use hyperlinks that appear in the footer of the sign-in page:

  • Set up ‘Favicon’ - the icon that displays in the web browser tab:

  • Customize header - a custom logo to display in the header of the sign-in page:

Once your settings are uploaded, you can view the resulting user experience.

Get started using company branding by setting up Entra ID P1, P2 or Office 365.

    Hi,
We started our journey with company branding, but we faced some issues, some sign-in/login pages are not showing company branding, for example:
    1. https://login.microsoftonline.com/<TenantID>/oauth2/authorize - showing only small logo:

    2. same small logo https://login.microsoftonline.com/<TenantID>/saml2

    3. expected result (as it is configured)

    4. Config:

Could you please advise on this configuration or there is any limitations? Thank you in advance.

    Best Regards,
    Rob

  • RobertG017 Thank you for the feedback.

Is this your tenant's default branding? Is image 1 and 2 from the same tenant? Is the small logo you are seeing the same as the Banner logo that is configured?

Also, to get the layout to appear as it has in your expected result, in the 'Layout' tab, change the Template to Partial-screen background.

    Hi,
    Regarding your questions:
    1) Default branding
    2) Same tenant, image 3 too
    3) Logo looks as it needed to look
    4) We are configuring 'Layout' tab and we can see differences, 'Sign-in box' location, background are changing, but main reason of me writing, is that background is not changing on some pages and remains default, same case with 'Layout', what we know so far, company branding works perfect for "portal.azure.com", "portal.office.com".

If you will check screenshot 1 and 3, there is no differences, but 1 shows default branding, 3 shows company branding as it configured.

Could you please advise, why image 1 shows me default microsoft branding, but not my configured company branding? Thank you in advance.

    Best Regards,
    Rob

evewahome LeventB  Hi, concerning the customization I was looking at the provided documentation: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/entra/fundamentals/how-to-customize-branding

Now here we see a nice comparison image:

On the left side I see the Specific Identity provider (Google in this case) shown immediately instead of the "sign in" options button. Where is the configuration to list the different options to sign in intead of the "sign in options" button? I can't seem to find it in company branding blade...
