local windows server domainjoin to azure

Hello There

I am trying to domainjoin a local Windows Server to an Azure Domain without creating an AADDS. So that user can use the Azure MFA 
Is such thing possible? I read about people installing a Windows Store on Windows Server 2019 so that they have the option to domainjoin through work or school network jetzt like normal windows 10 clients. Since i have Windows Server 2022 i am not able to install the Windows Store on this Server.
