Defender for Endpoint P2 license for shared devices

Does the per user license for Defender for Endpoint P2 that's bundled in the A5 Security step-up cover shared devices such as kiosks or computer labs?

In other words, do I need to purchase separate Defender for Endpoint device licenses for shared devices such as kiosks/labs if I already have purchased A5 Security licenses for all users?

I don't think so you have purchase separate licenses . while the license is based on per user that can support up to 5 concurrent devices refer the below two URL that explains also about Kiosks or shared device

@Chandrasekhar_Arya, thanks for the response. My Microsoft sales team is stating repeatedly that Defender for Endpoint P2 user licenses do not cover shared devices such as Kiosks or Labs. I do not agree with them. I'm working with my reseller to escalate this and hope to have written clarification soon.

Thats a lot please keep us updated when you get any clarification

Unfortunately this seems real. I wonder for how many it removes the need for or devalues an A5 subscription?
