How to integrate Squid proxy with MCAS?

Hello Everyone,

Can somebody help me understand this?

Is it possible to integrate Squid proxy with MCAS? If yes, please share the steps.

Is proxy replaceable to log collector results?( can we achieve full discovery with the help of proxy integration instead of having log collectors since we are facing too many issues with log collectors now a days) 

I would be thankful for a kind response on this.

Yes, you will simply follow the normal steps for automatic log upload.  When you create the data source, you have the option to choose Squid common or native formats as shown below.  Once the log collector is up and running and listening for syslog, you will also have to configure squid to send the syslog data to it.  Unfortunately, I don't have any instructions for configuring squid proxy for that.
