Azure Security Center recommendations not categorized by compute, networking, data etc
As per MS documentation (updated recently as well) the Azure Security Center's recommendations are divided into Compute, Data, IdentityAndAccess, and Networking recommendations but I cannot see the recommendations grouped by these categories in the portal. Instead I can see something similar to this:
Is there any way to see the recommendations divided into the categories as they used to be before given that recently updated MS documentation says its divided into those categories.
Hi Yousha,
This experience was changed more an year ago as part of the new Enhanced Secure Score .
ASC recommendations in the portal by default grouped by security controls (like in the screenshot above). You can turn this grouping off using the switch "Group by controls". There is currently no UI option to group recommendations based on their category (e.g. Compute) but you can use filters to only see recommendations for specific resource types (e.g. VMs, AKS, etc) https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/security-center/secure-score-security-controls#security-controls-and-their-recommendations
