Issue with Office 365 group photos in SharePoint library
I noticed that for SharePoint sites belonging to a Office 365 group every few hours a new version of the group photo is uploaded to the SiteAssets library. This results in several hundred versions of the photo in each SharePoint team site.
Is this a bug or how the photo sync between the group and the SharePoint page works?

Wow, I'm also seeing this and it's totally crazy...in one of my modern SPO Sites, the site icon has almos 1000 versions cfiessinger FYI
