We're thrilled to announce the newest class of MGCI Regional Leaders, a global cohort of 118 community builders, speakers, mentors, and storytellers who make the Microsoft community more vibrant, more connected, and more inclusive every day.

Out of a remarkable group of over 300 applicants, these 118 leaders stood out for their commitment, experience, and community impact. Please join us in congratulating and welcoming them to the cohort. This is more than a title; it’s an invitation to help shape and grow the Microsoft community in their regions and around the world.

What is a Regional Leader?

A Regional Leader is an Ambassador for Community. They share best practices, build connections across regions, and help elevate the communities around them. As part of the Microsoft Global Community Initiative (MGCI), Regional Leaders help empower global Microsoft communities with the tools, training, and resources to create impactful events and amplify diverse voices.

What do Regional Leaders get to do?

They lean into the areas that energize them most:

  • Speak and lead: panels, sessions, and General Session moments
  • Mentor: lift up new community members and fellow leaders
  • Activate your region: amplify events and voices where they are
  • Tell stories: content, blogs, and social that spotlight community impact
  • Advocate: be a champion for community inside and out

Meet the 2026 Regional Leaders

Congratulations to every member of the 2026 cohort. We can’t wait to see the impact they’ll make. Welcome to the crew!
