We are committed to empowering our customers with Windows 10 IoT Enterprise and Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSC. Last year, we announced an end date of January 31st, 2023 for electronic download of Windows 10 Home and Windows 10 Pro. Note this change relates to a retail channel and does not apply to Windows 10 IoT Enterprise.
Both Windows 10 IoT Enterprise and Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSC will still be available past January 2023. For Windows 10 IoT Enterprise the end of license will be October 31, 2023, with support available through October 14, 2025. There are currently multiple active versions for Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSC/LTSB, each with their own lifecycle. As of today, none of these versions have an end of license date defined.
Windows IoT Enterprise is available for OEM preinstalls targeting fixed function commercial devices. For general computing, we recommend using Windows 11. Customers can get more information on Windows IoT 10 Enterprise here. We are committed to working with our customers and will provide advanced notice of end of license dates for LTSC/LTSB products.
