Update - September 23, 2022, 10:50 AM PDT: The Azure Sphere 22.09 release, originally expected on September 22, 2022, is now expected on September 26, 2022.
Azure Sphere OS version 22.09 is now available for evaluation in the Retail Eval feed. The retail evaluation period provides 14 days for backward compatibility testing. During this time, please verify that your applications and devices operate properly with this release before it is deployed broadly to devices in the Retail feed. The Retail feed will continue to deliver OS version 22.07 until we publish 22.09 in two weeks.
This evaluation release includes enhancements and bug fixes for only the OS; it does not include an updated SDK.
Areas of special focus for compatibility testing with 22.09 should include apps and functionality utilizing:
- Wired ethernet connections to the internet
- Wi-Fi configuration
