Update 5: Using the Native Elgato Stream Deck Integration with Microsoft Teams

Update 5 (11/9/2023): As of this morning the plugin IS working with the new Teams after a quick settings toggle. My colleague Lauren Nordmann pointed this out and in the following post a do a quick how to walk through. See Elgato Stream Deck Now Working in the New Teams! - HLS Show Me How (microsoft.com) 

Note: If you are still experiencing issues with the plugin you may want to try removing Teams preview edition and run production. Also, when removing preview and returning to production don't forget to flush the cache. 

Update 4:   The Microsoft Teams product group has re-released the Microsoft Teams and Elgato Stream Deck plugin integration!

The Microsoft Teams product group has posted and update to the Microsoft 365 Roadmap this morning with information about the release of the updated integration with the Elgato Stream Deck! I will continue to track and update as new information, including re-release, arrive. You can see the update on Microsoft 365 Roadmap by clicking here.

Microsoft just released a new official plugin for the Elgato Streamdeck which provides you a host of meetings actions at your fingertips. In this video, recorded using Microsoft Teams, I walk through the integration and its uses/benefits.

    Many people including myself bought an Elgato Stream Deck hoping to benefit from this plugin: however there is no information provided about its availability for weeks now, would it be possible to have some news?

    Currently (2023-02-04) the Plugin is not available (in the Netherlands). When I click the "Plguin spotlight" and then "install the Microsoft Teams plugin" I get a "Page not found", the requested page was not found.

     

    Also searching in the store for "Microsoft Teams" does not find the plugin either.

    Yes same experience.  Seems to be missing from the Store.  Perhaps its getting an update and it will be reposted soon.

    So excited for this. Bought a Streamdeck specifically for this plugin, and then, as of Feb 04-05, 2023 in the U.S., the plugin is not available in the Elgato store. Says "page not found." Very disappointing. Hoping an update is in the works, or some technical error that will soon be fixed. Can't wait for quick reacts and easy Teams functionality at my fingertips during my many, many daily meetings!

    Any chance we will get a hand on the Teams Faceplate for the Stream Decks?
