RESOLVED: HDC Web Dashboard Outage

Thank you for your patience. The issue has been resolved and service restored.

We are aware of an issue with the hardware dashboard and are working to remediate. As this issue occurred during our scheduled US Winter Holiday timeframe release moratorium, we are targeting restoration of service early in January. In the meantime, the API interface should still be available to you.

    The Device Metadata Service has a trouble. Validation error occurs for new submission of Device Metadata Packages and it has not been approved since March in 2024. Please share the schedule for solving this problem.

    kevintremblay - The Device Metadata Service also looks to be impacted by this issue and is causing event errors 131 & 201 worldwide (started on ~12/27 and continues as of 1/15/2024).    https://aka.ms/AAoipfs

     

    If you remember, this often-missed service hands out extra device metadata on USB devices like printers and is also owned by HDC.   

     

    And the URL FORWARDER in the Registry is not working either.

    • Going to this link gives 502 Bad Gateway and resolves to http://dmd.metaservices.microsoft.com/metadata.svc

    On the one hand this, on the other hand should the help + support > service health have an entry on this issue.
