I am running exchange 2016 on prem with the latest CU and security updates. This month saw a new Healtchecker alert - "Default Web Site/PowerShell has authentication set, which is unsupported"
Upon inspection in IIS yes it was. This was disabled, IISReset and re-check with healthcheker. Yet still the error occurs. I reported this back to your feedback address, and (many thanks to David P) to help identify the cause and find a fix. I now need some additional help from the IIS team, but we do not have enough local knowledge to resolve this ourselves.
Apparantly our configuration is being read from: 'Default Web Site/PowerShell' web.config instead of the expected: applicationHost.config file.
What configuration changes do I need to make in order to fix this?
