Check out Microsoft Script Explorer for Windows PowerShell (pre-release)

Wanted to write a quick post about a tool that can help you find and catalogue various PowerShell scripts that are scattered on various online communities or – possibly – your internal company network shares.

The tool is called Microsoft Script Explorer for Windows PowerShell and has entered the public Beta 1 stage now.

Just to give you a taste of how it looks…

You can search scripts by category, with keywords or various other options. You can also dive directly into categories, which allows you to see scripts by product.

Have fun with it!

Nice one !!

This looks great.  I've recently been pushing myself to use PowerShell more too.  One thing I love about Exchange is the way you publish the commandlet for each action you perform in the GUI.  I wish this was incorporated into more MS applications!

Nice work, but doesn't seem to want to work if you're behind a proxy.  It won't download the categories at work but if I take the laptop home it's fine and I see everything.
