Hi there, are you ready for some fun and learning? If you are, then you should join the Semantic Kernel v1.0 Hackathon!

What is the Semantic Kernel v1.0 Hackathon, you ask?

Well, it’s a chance for you to build amazing projects using the latest and greatest version of the Semantic Kernel SDK, a powerful tool that lets you create applications that can interact with large language models.

The Semantic Kernel SDK v1.0 is a big milestone for the Semantic Kernel team, and they want to get as much feedback from the community as possible before they release it to the public. That’s why they are hosting this hackathon, where you can show off your skills and creativity, and win some awesome prizes!

Join the Hackathon

The hackathon is open from December 4, 2023 at 12 PM PST to December 11, 2023 at 12 PM PST. All you need to do is:

  • Read the resources to get familiar with the v1.0 SDK.
  • Build a project using the SDK in your preferred language.
  • Submit your project to the GitHub repo and fill out the form.

The projects will be judged based on the following categories:

  • Originality: How novel and innovative is your project?
  • Functionality: How well does your project work and how easy is it to use?
  • Impact: How useful and beneficial is your project for the users or the society?
  • Design: How appealing and user-friendly is your project’s interface and presentation?

The winners will be announced during the December 13th US/Europe Community Office Hours, and they will receive some amazing prizes (stay tuned for more details)!

So what are you waiting for? Grab your laptop, your favorite IDE, and your creative juices, and join the Semantic Kernel v1.0 Hackathon! It’s a great opportunity to learn, have fun, and make something awesome!
