Who Can Participate?

The Generative AI Hackathon is open to U.S.-based developers who are students, founders, or those who work at startups or enterprises. The primary goal of the hackathon is to engage with startup and student developers!


What Can Participants Expect?

Participants can utilize GitHub Copilot free for 30 days, Microsoft for Startups Founder's Hub grants participants $1,000 in Azure credits for the first 500 teams, and access to Microsoft AI experts via webinars and community discussions in the Azure AI Discord.



Judging & Prizes

Thanks to our partners, we have an exciting panel of judges from Microsoft, GitHub, and NVIDIA. Judges will review eligible submissions  and winners will be announced May 13th. The first-place winners will be recognized publicly at Build during the multimodal innovation session, have the opportunity to travel to Build and attend the conference, win cash prizes, swag, and more.
