@Rrourk I do not know of any industry standards for how Teams is utilized. Each organization is different and will use Teams differently. But you can go out and download Microsoft's Power Bi Microsoft 365 Usage Analytics (Free but you will need a Power BI Pro license to utilize/view) and trend your organization that way.
When I demoed this Power BI Dashboard to my leadership, they were shocked at what was actually being utilized, even though we did not announce that people can use specific applications.
