Microsoft Viva Engage playlists

Since 2019, M365LP has been helping drive healthy usage and adoption of Microsoft 365 apps and services, providing customers with content streamed from Microsoft for key services such as Microsoft Teams, Office apps (e.g., Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Planner and more. Once installed, this solution can be customized to your organization’s brand and service usage, custom playlists can be created for your own business processes, and the entire experience is configured in SharePoint Online to give you maximum familiarity and flexibility. Learn more about M365LP here.

Our upcoming releases will include Viva Insights and Viva Topics in December (previously October) and Viva Amplify in January (previously November).

Use this new content and our upcoming releases as an opportunity to update your app and re-engage your users. On-demand, micro training is a great way to help people learn in the flow of work.

  • CKWGA if you have Viva Learning, that would be the best option as of right now. Otherwise, support.microsoft.com probably has the most up to date how-to content.

It sounds like the best thing to do at this point is to remove the learning pathways, at least for our end users, as it hasn't been updated for eight months and has a poor user interface. Does Microsoft have any training content for Office 365 end users that is current (not marketing materials that lists features but actual training materials, such as quick start guides, etc.)?

  • jallen64 - we have temporarily paused new content updates to address the several accessibility and technical issues that have cropped up with recent template updates. Our team has escalated these issues to the engineering leadership team and working on a resolution. I don't have an ETA yet but am providing updates in GitHub here: Microsoft 365 Learning Pathways technical difficulties · Issue #786 · pnp/custom-learning-office-365 (github.com). Once we get these issues resolved, we can resume content updates (I have quite the backlog!).

If anyone else needs the answer to this. I found a YouTube provided by MS MVP Asif Rehmani that explains about the 35:50 mark
The difference between Viva Learning and the M365LP

JessieHwang, is M365LP still being updated? I haven't seen anything since this September update. Is it being deprecated and something else being created or encouraged to use.

I am curious how the M365LP solution is to be used along with the Viva Learning Solution?

The M365LP site that was offered long ago (2021) before Viva Learning was a thing was distributed via GitHub and endorsed by MS. It is a independent site on tenant.
How is the old M365 service meant to be integrated along with Viva Learning when only 1 SP Content Provider is available in Viva Learning?

Is the content ingested by M365LP the same as the Content Provided by one of the 2 Defaults in Viva Learning?

I am curious how the M365LP solution is to be used along with the Viva Learning Solution?

If we have multiple & separate Learning Content Solutions it will be difficult to manage.
