Glossary Terms: Governance Model

Hi folks, 

Don't want to spam the same post twice; however, I only found this area of data governance after I had posted in Purview section. 

Create enterprise business terminology once, reuse it across the organisation, and keep specialist business terminology within the Governance Domain that owns it.

    Hi sashakorniakUK, this is a sensible model in my view. I’ve seen the best results when organisations keep a small enterprise glossary for terms that must mean the same thing everywhere, then allow domains to own more specialised terms with named stewards. The key is having a clear promotion path, so a domain term can become enterprise-wide when it starts being reused broadly
