Create Azure Data Factory Managed Private Links

Create a managed private link for an Azure SQL managed instance, which is a similar procedure to establishing a managed link for any Azure resources from the Azure data factory.

Create Azure integration runtime

Create managed link for Azure SQL Managed Instance

Click new

Search for managed instance and select Azure SQL Database Managed Instance

Provide name > select target subscription > select target SQL MI > Create

Azure portal target SQL managed instance > security > Private endpoint connection

Select the pending adf private endpoint > approve

Validate ADF managed private link to ensure approval state "Approved"
