I dont quiet understand the difference between these two services. Can you please clarify.
For inheriting labels from input to output for Microsoft 365 Copilot, the following additional licenses provide user rights:
- Microsoft 365 E3/E5 + Microsoft 365 Copilot
For sensitivity labels for content generated by Microsoft 365 Copilot, the following additional licenses provide user rights:
- Microsoft 365 E5 + Microsoft 365 Copilot
- Microsoft 365 E3 + Microsoft E5 Compliance + Microsoft 365 Copilot
- Microsoft 365 E3 + Microsoft E5 Information Protection and Governance + Microsoft 365 Copilot
- So E3 will provide label inheritance from Copilot result if Copilot uses any labeled content. E5 will provide autolabeling to detect for senstive content generated from any copilot results.

- What if the user references 2 documents with 2 different labels when using Copilot in Word? Which label will it be labeled with?
- The label with the highest priority will be used. the application will compare the label on the current document with the label on the copilot results
- Is auto-labeling an E5 feature or part of the E5 licensing?
- Yes, autolabeling is part of E5.
- Yes, it's part of E5.
- Did understand correctly that at this time if documents are encrypted that Copilot will not be able to access the document, even if the user has permissions to the encrypted document?
- Encryption on documentsdefines who has access to the document and what permission it has. If the person has view permission, then the document can be opened in Office apps, but Copilot will not have permission to the encrypted document.
- Which admin role do you need to have full access to all Copilot settings in the admin center?
- It would be great to have the Admin Setup and controls for the deployment under the Copilot for Microsoft 365 learn documentation rather than having Copilot under Purview, Tenant sections as a topic

- Yes have it. But what i was suggesting to have the implementation steps in Admin center like the actual setup.
- Are there any tools to help with permissions on all of the sites and sharing of files in doc libraries? Are we expected to click through every SharePoint site, library, file, etc.?
- You can check out DeliverPoint from LightningTools for instance. https://lightningtools.com/products/deliverpoint-sharepoint-permissions-management-and-reporting-tool/ I'm also sure other vendors has products to help on this. You can of course also get reports with PowerShell.
- Thanks for the information, but no Microsoft tools, except for scripts through PowerShell... ? Was hoping for something a little better from MSFT for this. Seems like a critical aspect of preparing your environment. You can classify documents all you want, but if you have forgotten who you are sharing a folder in SharePoint with over the course of years, and those people you shared that folder with have access to the data in that folder, the classification is moot. Plus, classifying data based on key words and regex only goes so far. ACLs are critical. Need help with better native/accessible reporting tools
- Will there be a CDX environment available that contains these demos?
- Unfortunately there is no offering of CDX with copilot at the moment.
That's a missed opportunity it would be really handy
