This is the final section of our OSD Video Tutorial series. We’ve journeyed through OSD Introductory Sessions, OSD - A Deeper Dive and Advanced OSD and now we are concluding with a couple of tutorials looking at OSD and Windows 10. Today’s tutorial focuses on OSD and Windows 10 Servicing options for managing the upgrade process for Windows 10.  Steven details and demonstrates how to use each and provides a bit of detail around how the Windows 10 upgrades, packaged as updates, are deployed.

The video linked below was prepared by Steven Rachui, a Principal Premier Field Engineer focused on manageability technologies.

In the next session Steven discusses the Windows 10 imaging options available in ConfigMgr current branch and ConfigMgr 2012.

These videos, while relevant to the un-indoctrinated, seem to be from 2016. I expected something more current.

Hello Kevin

Yes, Steve did start work on this series a few years ago in the 2012 timeframe. We have published it in its entirety to provide an end to end discussion of OSD. Some (most) of the sessions are ConfigMgr 2012 focused but the content is still very relevant.  We do have other series planned that are focused on ConfigMgr current branch.

Best Regards

Yvette
