"deploy to Azure button" in Azure Git repo

Hi,

When I try to use the "deploy to Azure" button, with a template stored in Azure Git repo,
I get the following error:
Error parsing template. Please ensure template is valid JSON. Invalid symbol at character position 4. (3 other errors).

I use the following URL :

[](https://portal.azure.com/#create/Microsoft.Template/uri/{encoded_url})

I believe that there is no error in  my JSON file since it works fine with Azure portal for custom deployment.

Fair enough, but that doesn't explain the "Error parsing template. Please ensure template is valid JSON and has no comments." error...
I've updated the repoUrl, but the exception still comes up when I click the "Deploy to Azure" button.

@chandra805 The json file is valid. I can use it in Azure Portal custom deployment without any problem. .
