Azure Pipelines

I've build pipeline that produces artifacts and that artifacts have to consumed by other pipeline. I've used resources task and after the finish of build artifacts can be seen as consumed. My question what really happens at the background. Where can I see those artifacts and use them. How consume is different from publish.
